Harpreet has advised that we have now increased our membership by last year by 20 members.
Now we have a total of 150 members.

Sukhvinder has proposed to the members to get on board with the team. He asked if anyone was interested in becoming part of the executive team. No one was interested in becoming an actual committee member, however are happy to volunteer with whatever is needed to be done.
All present members have put their hand up to Volunteer for the trust.
Sukhvinder announced the current committee is staying the same. All members have passed this movement.
General Matters
- Sukhvinder has advised that our trustee’s do not get paid for any of their personal time for attending meetings. Sukhvinder moved that the trustee’s receive some sort of compensation for their time; this was seconded by Ragbir Singh.
- Jagjit Singh has suggested that we do at least 4 bus trips during the year for the senior citizens. To show them around in New Zealand and the NZ Culture.
- Ragbir Singh has suggested when we do bus trips we should be able to take a plus one, so they can take a partner. Sukhvinder will look into this and see what we can do, whether it be getting an extra bus for the day or getting a bigger bus or reducing numbers.
- Harminder Singh, said that we should continue with the Computer, English and Exercise classes for next year also as they have been successful.
- Sukhvinder Singh has moved that we review all bookings every 6 months, Ragbir singh challenged this as has said that we should do it every 12 months as 6 months’ time is too short. Reviewing will happen every 12 months, any bookings that fall on any day that the Trust requires the community Centre the trust will have priority. This was seconded by Sumat Singh
- Sukhvinder has asked if everyone is happy how things are running with the trust. All members have passed this.
- All members have discussed that we speak to the landlord about other people parking in the trust car park that is located at the back of the building as this makes it difficult for members to park.
